Cocktail Compass Borovets

Cocktail crawls

Pick a part of town, a cocktail, a spirit or any bar, and how many stops. We find places close together that serve it, put them in a short walking order and say what to try at each.

How the crawls work

A place counts for a cocktail or a spirit when its own menu lists one; restaurants and cafés with a cocktail list count too, but the planner leans to bars: a restaurant counts as 400 m further away, so it joins a crawl only where bars are scarce, marked "check they'll serve a drink on its own". "Anything" is bars and pubs only. The planner tries every place as a starting point, adds the nearest ones that serve what you chose, then walks them in the shortest order. Walking distances follow the streets, paths and steps on OpenStreetMap, at an easy 4.5 km an hour, allowing 45 minutes at each stop; two places with water between them count as too far. Menus were read in November 2026: they change, so ask at the bar.

Nightclubs are left out (the LGBTQ+ night out ends at a club). Bars without a menu online only join crawls of any bar. A crawl leaves out a place that will be shut when you'd get there, where we know its hours, but check before you set off. Cocktails are strong: one at each stop is plenty, and every stop shows an alcohol-free choice where the bar lists one. Drinkaware has more.
